Crash alert: 2 people hospitalized after OHRV overturns near Ossipee Lake

OSSIPEE LAKE, NH – Two people were injured after an OHRV (off-highway recreational vehicle) overturned near Ossipee Lake this weekend, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.

The crash happened on Weetamoe Road, near Fairway Drive, at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday, after the driver of the OHRV attempted to make a left turn. The vehicle flipped over, causing all six occupants to be ejected.

One person was trapped within the wreckage and was freed by emergency crews.

One victim sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The other victim sustained severe injuries.

Both were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
