Crash alert: 23-year-old motorcyclist hospitalized after attempting to pass another vehicle in Hudson

HUDSON, NH – A motorcyclist was injured in a crash after he attempted to pass another vehicle in Hudson on Wednesday evening, according to the Hudson Police Department.

The accident occurred near the intersection of Page Road and Derry Street at about 6:12 p.m., when 23-year-old Brookline man Nicholas Fosmire, operating a 2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, reportedly attempted to pass a vehicle making a right turn.

Fosmire then lost control of his motorcycle and laid it onto the roadway.

Fosmire, who was wearing a helmet at the time, was taken to the hospital for the treatment of non-critical injuries.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time. No charges have yet been filed.
