Crash Alert: 54-year-old man hospitalized following 3-vehicle crash in Salem

SALEM, NH – One man was sent to the hospital and another is facing charges after a collision involving several vehicles last Friday morning.

According to a report by the Eagle-Tribune, the incident occurred along I-93, just after 6 a.m. on August 20th.

Police say the driver of a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, 26-year-old Daniel Kingsley, lost control of his vehicle for unknown reasons and skidded across several lanes.

Kingsley’s vehicle then crashed into a 2021 Chevrolet Box truck, causing it to hit the guardrail and come to a stop. The box truck was then hit by a 2021 Ford Transit van.

The driver in the box truck, 54-year-old Warren Osterman, was extricated from his vehicle and rushed to Lawrence General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe speed played a factor in the road. Kingsley is now facing charges of reckless operation.

The precise location of the crash is not mentioned in the report.
