Crash alert: 73-year-old Maine woman hurt after crashing into Rt. 16 toll booth

ROCHESTER, NH – A 73-year-old driver from Maine was hurt after she crashed into a toll booth in Rochester last weekend, according to WHDH.

The accident happened in the Rochester Toll Plaza of Rt 16 at about 4 p.m. Sunday when the driver of a 2018 Subaru Outback collided with a support structure.

The impact sent the vehicle into the air, and it finally collided with a toll booth. Fortunately, the booth was vacant at the time.

The driver was sent to a local hospital for the treatment of minor wounds. No other injuries were reported in the crash, which remains under investigation at this time.
