Crash alert: 78-year-old falls in Plymouth parking lot, is fatally struck by car

PLYMOUTH, NH – An elderly man was fatally struck by a vehicle after he slipped and fell outside a medical office building in Plymouth on Friday morning.

According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, the crash occurred outside Speare Memorial at Boulder Point, located at 103 Boulder Point Drive, at 9:43 a.m., when 78-year-old Thornton man James Stafursky fell in the parking lot.

Stafursky was lying on the ground when he was struck by Belmont man Lloyd Pickering, 61, who reportedly did not notice the victim.

Stafursky died at the scene. Pickering was not reported as injured.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision at this time.
