Crash alert: 78-year-old pedestrian critically injured in Nashua accident

NASHUA, NH – An elderly woman was critically injured in Nashua after she was hit by a car this weekend, according to a report by NECN.

The collision occurred at 28 Charron Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. on Saturday when a driver collided with a 78-year-old pedestrian.

The victim, who has yet to be publicly identified, was airlifted to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.

The driver was not reported as hurt.

The driver remained at the scene after the crash and is reportedly cooperating with authorities. Officials do not believe that the driver was intoxicated at the time of the accident.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
