Crash alert: Bicyclist severely hurt after crashing into dump truck in North Hampton

NORTH HAMPTON, NH – A bicyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a garbage truck in North Hampton yesterday morning, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.

The accident happened at 84 Woodland Road, near Cotton Farm Lane, at about 10 a.m., as 59-year-old Hebron resident Robert Davis was riding a bicycle. He crashed into the rear of a garbage truck being driven by 56-year-old Milton man Roderick Celley.

Davis was taken to the hospital in Portsmouth with severe injuries that were not expected to be life-threatening.

The truck driver was not reported as injured.

No charges have yet been filed, and the accident remains under investigation.
