Crash alert: Car fire causes traffic slowdowns and closures on I-93 in Manchester

MANCHESTER, NH – The New Hampshire State Police reported a car fire this afternoon on I-93 in Manchester that was causing traffic slowdowns and lane closures.

According to the department’s Twitter feed, the incident occurred on northbound I-93 near mile marker 22 at about 12:50 p.m.

The right lane was closed as a result of the vehicle fire.

The cause of the fire was not immediately available, and it is unclear if anyone was hurt as a result.
