HENNIKER, NH – A child and an adult were killed in a mobile home fire in Henniker earlier this week, according to NBC Boston.
The blaze began on Ryan Road at about 5 p.m., in the back of a mobile home. The blaze quickly spread to heavy smoke and flames by the time firefighters arrived at the scene.
Despite the fire being quickly extinguished by emergency crews, the two victims, who have yet to be publicly identified, died after being trapped inside the home during the fire.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Autopsies on the victims are expected to be performed today.
The cause of the fire was not immediately released, and the accident remains under investigation.
