CHESTERFIELD, NH – A driver from Colorado was hospitalized following a two-truck collision on Route 9 in Chesterfield yesterday, according to the New Hampshire State Police.
The crash happened on Route 9, near Locust Lane, at about 10:41 p.m., as 59-year-old Chesterfield man Norman Cobb was reversing his tractor-trailer into a driveway. The trailer was then hit by another truck, driven by 64-year-old David Troup, of Commerce City, Colorado.
Troup was briefly trapped within the cab of his wrecked vehicle. After being extricated by emergency crews, he was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening wounds.
Cobb was not reported as injured.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
