Crash alert: Derry bicyclist killed in hit-and-run crash on Rt. 125 in Kingston

KINGSTON, NH – A bicyclist was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in a crash on Route 125 in Kingston yesterday morning, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

The crash occurred on southbound Rt. 125, near New Boston Road at about 11:37 a.m.., when 59-year-old bicyclist Donna Briggs, of Derry, was struck from behind by the driver of a dark-colored vehicle. The driver then fled the scene.

Briggs was found dead around 8:30 p.m., after Kingston Police began to search for a missing person.

Authorities are asking possible witnesses to the crash or those who may have been traveling in the area around 11:30 a.m. to contact Trooper Torrens at 603-545-4396.

The accident remains under investigation.
