NEW LONDON, NH – A truck driver from Massachusetts was taken to the hospital after his vehicle crashed in New London early Sunday morning, according to a press release from the New Hampshire State Police.
The crash happened on I-89 N, near mile marker 33, at 12:42 a.m., when 31-year-old Alexander Nunez, of West Springfield, Mass., went off the side of the road in a commercial box truck. The truck, belonging to Rose K. Trucking Company, then rolled over onto its side in the median area.
Nunez was taken to the hospital for the treatment of an arm injury, which authorities do not expect to be life-threatening.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The overturned box truck caused traffic delays and lane closures of multiple hours.
The accident remains under investigation.
