EAST KINGSTON, NH – A man was killed and a boy was hospitalized with severe injuries when their vehicle crashed into trees near Route 108 in East Kingston this weekend.
According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, the crash happened on Giles Road, near Joslin Road and North Road (Rt. 108) at about 3 p.m. Sunday, as 33-year-old Kingston resident Jason Shuryn was rounding a curve in a Toyota RAV4 SUV.
The vehicle then crashed off the side of the road and into a group of trees nearby.
Despite the attempts of others to save him, Shuryn died at the scene.
His passenger, a male juvenile, was taken to the hospital in Portsmouth for the treatment of severe injuries that were not expected to be life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation.
