ANDOVER, NH (MERRIMACK COUNTY) – A man is facing charges after an alleged DUI motorcycle accident in Merrimack County this weekend that caused the death of his passenger.
According to WCAX, the accident happened on Route 4 at about 9 p.m. Sunday night when Hooksett man Dennis Boucher, 42, lost control of his motorcycle while rounding a turn and was then ejected from the vehicle.
Police believe that he was under the influence of alcohol when the accident occurred.
41-year-old New Hampshire woman Tonya Boucher, a passenger, was also ejected from the bike and was killed in the crash.
Dennis Boucher was airlifted to Dartmouth Hitchcock for the treatment of critical, severe injuries. There, he was later arrested under charges of negligent homicide.
