DANBURY, NH – A single-vehicle accident in Danbury yesterday afternoon led to the death of a man and the injury of his female passenger, according to WMUR.
The accident occurred on East District Road at about 3 p.m., when a 43-year-old male driver went off the right side of the roadway. He veered back onto the roadway, then collided with a guardrail and multiple trees before coming to a stop.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, reportedly was ejected during the accident. He died at the scene.
His 36-year-old passenger, who was reportedly wearing a seatbelt, was brought to the hospital for the treatment of minor wounds.
The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
