Crash alert: Mass. woman hospitalized after Pelham snowmobile accident

PELHAM, NH – A woman from Massachusetts was severely hurt when she crashed a snowmobile in Pelham this weekend, according to NECN.

The accident occurred at a private residence on Noella Avenue at about 1:30 p.m., as 60-year-old Michelle Saball, of North Reading, Mass., was operating a 1997 Arctic Cat 600 snowmobile.

She was taken to the hospital in Lowell with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle crashed due to operator error, according to authorities, and is not believed to have been the result of intoxicated driving or speed.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
