Crash alert: Motorcyclist killed after crashing into FedEx in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH, NH – A motorcyclist was killed after he collided with a FedEx truck on Route 33 in Portsmouth yesterday afternoon, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.

The crash happened at Griffin Road and Greenland Road (Route 33) at about 2:10 p.m., when a man operating a Honda Shadow motorcycle collided with the back of a FedEx tractor-trailer.

The motorcyclist died at the scene, while the truck driver was not reported as injured.

The motorcyclist may have been speeding at the time of the crash.

Authorities detoured traffic away from the area as they worked the accident. Their investigation continues at this time.
