Crash alert: Passenger injured in DUI crash in Manchester

MANCHESTER, NH – Prosecutors have charged a woman with DWI after she crashed her vehicle into a pair of houses and seriously injured her passenger, WHDH reports.

The incident occurred on South Mammoth Road sometime before 2 a.m. Saturday. Police responding to the scene discovered a vehicle that had come to rest on a residential lawn after colliding with two nearby houses. A passenger was pulled from the vehicle and taken to nearby hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

The driver, the vehicle’s only other occupant, was arrested and has since been charged with driving while intoxicated and second-degree assault.
