Crash alert: Pedestrian killed after being hit by bicyclist in downtown Manchester

MANCHESTER, NH – A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a bicyclist in downtown Manchester yesterday evening, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Hanover Street and Elm Street at about 7 p.m., as a 69-year-old pedestrian was crossing the street.

The victim was then struck by a 25-year-old bicyclist.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, was taken to the hospital. There, they succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced dead.

The bicyclist was not reported as injured.

The accident remains under investigation by crash reconstruction teams at this time.
