SULLIVAN, NH – Authorities believe that speeding may have been a factor in a tractor-trailer collision that occurred Thursday night on Route 9 in Sullivan.
According to information from the New Hampshire State Police, the crash happened on westbound Rt. 9 near Valley Road at about 7:45 p.m., as 31-year-old Hamlet R. Dubois, of Watertown, New York, was driving a tractor-trailer that was hauling a load of salvage vehicles. He was unable to properly negotiate a curve in the roadway, and the truck overturned onto its side.
Speeding may have been a factor in the collision.
No other vehicles were reported in the crash.
Nobody was reported as injured in the collision.
The accident remains under investigation.
