KEENE, NH – A man from Swanzey is dead after he was ejected from his vehicle in a crash on Route 101 late Monday night in Keene, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.
The accident occurred on eastbound Route 101 at 11 p.m., when 68-year-old driver David A. Smith, a Swanzey resident, struck a guardrail. His car skidded, then overturned.
Smith was ejected from the vehicle in the process.
Despite the efforts of emergency crews to save him, Smith died at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
