PETERBOROUGH, NH – The driver of a tractor-trailer said he was swatting a bug in his cab when he lost control of the truck and crashed it on Route 101 last Friday.
Peterborough Fire Chief Ed Walker told WMUR News that the accident happened just before 7 a.m. the morning of July 10.
No one was injured in this crash, but part of Route 101 was closed for several hours while crews worked to repair the two telephone poles, internet, and cable lines struck by the truck.
The crash affected internet accessibility in seven towns and electricity in four towns nearby. Peterborough Police are still investigating this accident.
