Crash alert: Two people killed when ATV crashes into tree in Auburn

AUBURN, NH – A mother and her adult son were killed after their ATV crashed into a tree in Auburn on Saturday morning, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.

The accident occurred on Beaver Brook Road at about 9 a.m., when an ATV being driven by 34-year-old Craig Ford, of Auburn, collided with a tree.

He and his mother, 51-year-old Auburn resident Wendy Ford, were pronounced dead at the scene.

While the cause of the crash remains under investigation, authorities believe that speed may have played a role.
