MANCHESTER, NH – A woman was killed in an apartment fire in Manchester earlier this week, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.
The incident occurred at 96 Prospect Street at about 1:30 a.m. Monday, when an apartment building caught fire.
A woman was located inside the building and was evacuated through a window. Despite her rescue, she died as a result of the fire. She was not immediately identified.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the blaze and the victim’s cause of death.
