Man killed, juvenile injured in East Kingston crash

EAST KINGSTON, NH – A man was killed and his young passenger was hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash in East Kingston on Sunday afternoon.

According to Foster’s Daily Democrat, the accident occurred at about 2:58 p.m. when 33-year-old Jason Shuryn lost control of his Toyota Rav4 near the intersection of Giles Road and Joslin Road.

East Kingston police say Shuryn was traveling at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate a turn and skidded off of the road, colliding with several trees in the process.

Shuryn suffered fatal injuries in the crash. His unidentified juvenile passenger was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
