MERRIMACK, NH – The driver of a plow truck fled the scene of a collision in Merrimack this weekend, according to WMUR.
The collision occurred at an intersection on Route 101A, at about 9 p.m. Sunday, when the operator of a plow truck sped through a red light.
The truck driver then collided head-on with another vehicle, before fleeing the scene of the accident.
A female occupant of the car was brought to the hospital to be evaluated.
Authorities continue to search for the truck driver and to investigate the collision.
While accidents may occur at any time, they tend to be more frequent during inclement weather. Winter-weather crashes are even more painful when a driver flees the scene without taking responsibility for their actions.
