DOVER, NH – Two drivers suffered only minor injuries after a head-on collision on the Spaulding Turnpike in Dover on Sunday night, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

The crash happened on the Spaulding Turnpike (Route 16 S) near Exit 7 at about 8:05 p.m., as a 2005 Honda Accord, being driven by 22-year-old Cameron Peters, of York, Maine, suffered a mechanical malfunction.

Peters lost control of the Accord, then crashed into a guardrail on the left shoulder. He was sent across all lanes of the highway and then collided with the guardrail on the right shoulder. He then went over the median, where he collided head-on with 31-year-old Portsmouth resident Thomas Carr, operating a 2019 Volvo XC40.

CANDIA, NH – A man is facing charges after allegedly driving drunk and causing a UTV crash in Candia on Sunday that claimed the lives of his wife and best friend, according to WMUR.

The collision happened on Chester Road at about 7:30 p.m. as 48-year-old Candia man James Shankle was operating a UTV that was also carrying his wife, Renee Shankle, and his best friend, Goffstown resident Alan Juza.

James Shankle, who reportedly admitted to drinking at least eight beers before the crash, was traveling at a speed of around 40-50 mph before the UTV crashed into a tree. Authorities believe he did not brake before impact.

THORNTON, NH – One person was killed and another was severely injured in a single-vehicle crash on I-93 in Thornton on Saturday afternoon, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

The accident occurred on northbound I-93 at 12:52 p.m., when a 1996 Ford Explorer being driven by 56-year-old Richard Rosa, of Lowell, Mass., suffered a malfunction to its rear tire. The Explorer then went off the side of the road and crashed into a wooden median.

Richard Rosa was ejected during the crash. He was taken to Speare Memorial Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

MANCHESTER, NH – A crash on I-293 led to traffic delays and lane closures in Manchester yesterday evening, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

MANCHESTER, NH – A motorcyclist was killed after he crashed into a box truck on I-93 in Manchester on Wednesday morning, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

The crash happened on I-93 N, near mile marker 19.6 and the Exit 6 off-ramp, at about 5:40 a.m.

28-year-old Manchester resident Sean MacDonald, operating a 2006 Yamaha V-Star motorcycle, reportedly went across multiple lanes of traffic just before he crashed into the back of a box truck being driven by 26-year-old Alton man Cody Hannaford.

EAST KINGSTON, NH – A man was killed and a boy was hospitalized with severe injuries when their vehicle crashed into trees near Route 108 in East Kingston this weekend.

According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, the crash happened on Giles Road, near Joslin Road and North Road (Rt. 108) at about 3 p.m. Sunday, as 33-year-old Kingston resident Jason Shuryn was rounding a curve in a Toyota RAV4 SUV.

The vehicle then crashed off the side of the road and into a group of trees nearby.

BETHLEHEM, NH – A man from Pennsylvania was killed in a crash on Route 3 involving two tractor-trailers early Friday morning, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.

The crash happened in Bethlehem, south of Trudeau Road, at 12:24 a.m., when two tractor-trailer trucks collided.

54-year-old Gus E. Forte, of Lancaster, Penn., died at the scene.

PLAISTOW, NH – An 18-year-old was hospitalized after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in Plaistow yesterday morning, according to WMUR.

The crash happened on Main Street at 10:38 a.m., when an 18-year-old motorcyclist collided with another vehicle.

He was airlifted to the hospital in Boston with a possible head injury.

BETHLEHEM, NH – A major collision involving two tractor-trailers shut down Route 3 in the Five Corners area early this morning.

According to WMUR, the incident was first reported shortly before 12:30 a.m., just south of the Trudeau Road intersection.

Reports suggest the two semis collided head-on. It is unclear if any injuries were sustained as a result of the crash.

CANTERBURY, NH – Emergency crews responded to a collision along I-93 in Canterbury on Monday evening.

According to a report by the New Hampshire DoT, the crash took place at about 8:39 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the freeway, near mile marker 45.
