WENTWORTH, NH – A man died Monday morning after his lumber truck rolled over on Mt. Moosilauke Highway, according to the Union Leader.

Police believe the victim, 65-year-old Keene man John Hope Jr., was driving a flatbed truck full of lumber when he executed too sharp a turn on Route 25 around 7:15 a.m.

Initial investigation shows that Hope likely encountered heavy fog and overcorrected his turn to remain on the roadway, causing the truck to tip and roll over.

MANCHESTER, NH – Police have identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred at Hackett Hill Road and Front Street on Sunday, July 5.

Gary Raiche, 35, was riding his motorcycle south on Hackett Hill Road when a 2009 Subaru Impreza struck him while turning onto Front Street.

Manchester Police reported that Raiche died at the scene.

BEDFORD, NH – The Bedford Police Chief announced Tuesday that an arrest has been made in connection with a motorcycle accident from August 2019 that killed a man.

According to Patch, the accident occurred on Route 101 in Bedford at 7:45 p.m. on the evening of August 15, 2019.

The accident occurred between a motorcycle and a second vehicle. The rider of the motorcycle, 59-year-old James R. Raymond, suffered a major head injury and died later at a local hospital.

CONCORD, NH – A van crashed and rolled over on Interstate 89 South near Mile Marker 1 on Wednesday, July 1, seriously injuring the driver.

According to Patch, the accident occurred around 1:45 p.m. First responders from Concord and Bow responded to the scene and found the driver had suffered a puncture wound to the chest and was trapped inside the van.

The driver, a man in his 60s, was rescued from the van with major injuries, but was awake and alert, according to first responders. He was transported to Concord Hospital for treatment.
