ROCHESTER, NH – A 73-year-old driver from Maine was hurt after she crashed into a toll booth in Rochester last weekend, according to WHDH.

The accident happened in the Rochester Toll Plaza of Rt 16 at about 4 p.m. Sunday when the driver of a 2018 Subaru Outback collided with a support structure.

The impact sent the vehicle into the air, and it finally collided with a toll booth. Fortunately, the booth was vacant at the time.

DERRY, NH – A 12-year-old boy suffered serious injuries last week when a go-cart rolled over in a Derry backyard and trapped him and another child inside the vehicle, according to a report by the New Hampshire Union Leader.

The accident happened on a private track at about 3 p.m. Thursday when one of the boys attempted to make a turn. The vehicle rolled over onto its side, trapping him and another 12-year-old boy in the wreckage.

The boys, both from Derry, were extracted from the crash by emergency personnel after a worried neighbor called 911.

LOUDON, NH – A teenager was hurt after he crashed a snowmobile into a tree in Loudon on Tuesday afternoon, according to the New Hampshire Union-Leader.

The crash happened on private property in Loudon at about 3:30 p.m., when the 18-year-old boy—who was not publicly identified—crashed his snowmobile into a tree.

He was then taken to a local hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. The victim was reportedly not wearing a helmet when the accident occurred.

FRANKLIN, NH – Two people were hurt after they were hit by a driver while they were crossing the street in downtown Franklin last week, according to the Laconia Daily Sun.

The accident happened on Thursday, at about 7 p.m., at Prospect St and Central St as two Franklin residents, Jeannine Ramsdell and Amador Padilla, were crossing at the intersection. They were then struck and injured by a driver named Christine Lewis.

Padilla suffered a possible leg injury and was taken to the hospital in Franklin for treatment. His injuries are reportedly not life-threatening. Ramsdell also suffered undisclosed injuries that were minor enough to be treated at the scene.

LONDONDERRY, NH – A worker was killed at a job site in Londonderry yesterday when he was hit on the head by a piece of construction equipment, according to WMUR.

The accident happened on Michels Way yesterday afternoon when the victim, a man in his 50s, was struck on the head by a cable that snapped while he was working a drill machine.

Despite having been wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, the victim died after being taken to the hospital for treatment. He has not been publicly identified.

NASHUA, NH – Two people were critically injured in a wrong-way, head-on collision on the Everett Turnpike around midnight on Wednesday.

According to NBC Boston, Nashua resident Matthew L. Wicks, 37, drove his 2018 Audi Q7 east in the westbound lanes of the Turnpike. Wicks collided head-on with the driver of a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe heading west.

Carol B. Gates, 50, the driver of the Hyundai, is a resident of Greenville, New Hampshire. Gates was transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and is listed in serious condition.

MANCHESTER, NH – Just before 3:00 a.m. early Sunday morning, Manchester police attempted to stop the driver of a 2010 BMW who was speeding down Bridge Street.

According to Ink Link, the driver refused to pull over for the officers and led them on a chase north on Pine St. and then east on Pearl St.

Police suspended the chase because the BMW driver was driving recklessly and disregarding traffic lights. Police soon after located the vehicle, which had crashed into a home and utility pole at Pearl and Belmont St. and was now on fire.
