HOPKINTON, NH – A 26-year-old man who is suspected of having been under the influence is facing multiple charges after authorities discovered him driving the wrong way on I-89 in Hopkinton early yesterday, according to WMUR.

The accident happened near Exit 5 of I-89 at about 12:45 a.m. when Lebanon man Robert McCullen was spotted driving southbound in the northbound lanes of the interstate. Authorities deployed stop sticks, which caused two of his tires to deflate.

Despite this, McCullen continued to drive until he was stopped later down the highway by State Troopers.

ROCHESTER, NH – A 73-year-old driver from Maine was hurt after she crashed into a toll booth in Rochester last weekend, according to WHDH.

The accident happened in the Rochester Toll Plaza of Rt 16 at about 4 p.m. Sunday when the driver of a 2018 Subaru Outback collided with a support structure.

The impact sent the vehicle into the air, and it finally collided with a toll booth. Fortunately, the booth was vacant at the time.

DERRY, NH – A 12-year-old boy suffered serious injuries last week when a go-cart rolled over in a Derry backyard and trapped him and another child inside the vehicle, according to a report by the New Hampshire Union Leader.

The accident happened on a private track at about 3 p.m. Thursday when one of the boys attempted to make a turn. The vehicle rolled over onto its side, trapping him and another 12-year-old boy in the wreckage.

The boys, both from Derry, were extracted from the crash by emergency personnel after a worried neighbor called 911.

LOUDON, NH – A teenager was hurt after he crashed a snowmobile into a tree in Loudon on Tuesday afternoon, according to the New Hampshire Union-Leader.

The crash happened on private property in Loudon at about 3:30 p.m., when the 18-year-old boy—who was not publicly identified—crashed his snowmobile into a tree.

He was then taken to a local hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. The victim was reportedly not wearing a helmet when the accident occurred.

MANCHESTER, NH – A woman who was reportedly driving the wrong way on I-293 in Manchester is facing charges following a single-vehicle rollover accident early Monday morning.

According to WMUR, the crash happened in northbound I-293, near Eddy Rd and Amoskeag St at about 2 a.m. when a 25-year-old driver was driving southbound, against the flow of oncoming traffic.

She was reportedly attempting to reverse the direction of her vehicle and rolled her vehicle over in the process.

FRANKLIN, NH – Two people were hurt after they were hit by a driver while they were crossing the street in downtown Franklin last week, according to the Laconia Daily Sun.

The accident happened on Thursday, at about 7 p.m., at Prospect St and Central St as two Franklin residents, Jeannine Ramsdell and Amador Padilla, were crossing at the intersection. They were then struck and injured by a driver named Christine Lewis.

Padilla suffered a possible leg injury and was taken to the hospital in Franklin for treatment. His injuries are reportedly not life-threatening. Ramsdell also suffered undisclosed injuries that were minor enough to be treated at the scene.

WOODSTOCK, NH (GRAFTON COUNTY) – A 14-year-old boy was hurt in an ATV rollover crash in Grafton County last weekend, according to NECN.

The accident happened Saturday in Woodstock as the driver, a boy from Charlton, Massachusetts, was traveling with a group.

He missed a turn, and in attempting to correct the mistake, rolled the ATV down a bankside.
