HOOKSETT, NH – A man who had passed out while driving in Hooksett on Thanksgiving morning is facing multiple charges after he allegedly dragged two officers with his vehicle when they attempted to bring him into custody.

According to WHDH, the suspect, 28-year-old Quincy Suh Ambe, of Lowell, was reportedly passed out in the middle of I-93, near Exit 9S, at about 6 a.m.

The vehicle was parked in the center of the roadway while still running, without its lights on, and Ambe was found hunched over in the driver’s seat. He did not immediately wake up, despite multiple attempts by police to rouse him.

EPSOM, NH – A Maine man was killed and three people were taken to the hospital following a multi-vehicle collision in Epsom on Wednesday that was allegedly caused by an intoxicated driver.

According to WHDH, the crash occurred near the Epsom Highway Department on Route 4, also known as Dover Road, at about 8:30 p.m.

The driver of a 2020 Dodge Ram pickup truck, 34-year-old Loudon woman Amanda Raymond, rear-ended another vehicle, a 2012 Jeep Liberty driven by 43-year-old Jon Sawyer.

HUDSON, NH – A man was seriously injured after he crashed his SUV into a tree in Hudson last weekend, according to NBC Boston.

The accident occurred on Speare Road, near Kara’s Crossing, at about 5 p.m. Saturday, when Michel Rodier, 41, traveled off the left side of the road.

Rodier, operating a 2013 Mazda CX-5, then collided with a tree.

MERRIMACK, NH – No serious injuries were reported in a rollover accident in Merrimack last night, according to a report by the Merrimack Patch.

The accident happened near the intersection of Westcott Drive and Bean Rd at about 8:20 p.m. when a white Volkswagen sedan traveled off the right side of the roadway and collide with a stone wall. The driver of the Volkswagen then overcorrected the vehicle, causing it to roll over an unspecified number of times onto its right side.

The two occupants of the sedan were able to climb out of the wreckage without any major injuries. Their identities have yet to be publicly revealed.

MANCHESTER, NH – One person was hurt and multiple power lines were downed following a dramatic and fiery accident in Manchester yesterday morning, according to the Manchester Ink Link.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Rockland Avenue and Mast Road at about 6 a.m. when the driver of a minivan collided with a utility pole.

The driver, who has yet to be publicly identified, was able to crawl free of the burning wreckage. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

SANBORNTON, NH (BELKNAP COUNTY) – An elderly woman was killed after her vehicle crashed into a tree on I-93 last weekend, according to the Salmon Press.

The collision occurred near milepost 63.2 on I-93 South at about 11:55 a.m. on Sunday when the driver of a Toyota Rav4, 73-year-old Barbara Riff of Berlin, New Hampshire, lost control of her vehicle.

The Toyota went off the side of the roadway and then collided with the center median before finally striking a tree head-on.

LOUDON, NH – Five people were injured Wednesday when a pair of passenger vehicles collided north of Loudon, Patch reports.

Firefighters and police responded to reports of a collision at Route 106 and Clough Hill Road shortly after 4:45 p.m. They discovered that a GMC Denali and a gray SUV had collided head-on, injuring a total of five people, one of whom was lying in the roadway. Emergency medical services transported four of the victims to nearby facilities.

Their current conditions are unknown.

DERRY, NH – A man has been charged with a battery of crimes stemming from a fatal collision that occurred while he was driving drunk last Wednesday.

The New Hampshire Union Leader reports that 20-year-old Quincy, MA resident Matthew Pittman has been charged with negligent homicide, aggravated driving while intoxicated and operating without a valid license.

Pittman was at the wheel of a southbound 2011 Volkswagen Golf when he lost control of the vehicle at 115 Windham Road at about 4 p.m., left the roadway, and slammed into a group of rocks and trees. He and his 19-year-old passenger, Derry resident Molly Rockwell, were initially taken to Parkland Medical Center, but Rockwell’s condition worsened and she was flown to Women’s Hospital in Boston, where she died.

MANCHESTER, NH – A four-year-old boy was killed in Manchester yesterday when he was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle, according to CBS Boston.

The accident happened in an alleyway near the intersection of Schuyler Street and Flaherty Lane at about 3 p.m., when the 39-year-old driver of a pickup truck attempted to turn right, then struck the victim.

The driver stopped near the scene of the accident. No charges have been filed against him as of yet.
