ROCHESTER, NH – The passenger of a U-Haul truck died after the vehicle veered off Chestnut Hill Road near Roger Allen Park on Aug. 22.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but WMUR reported that the crash happened just before 1 p.m. One passenger was declared dead at the scene, while the driver and the second passenger were taken to a local hospital.

It is not clear why the truck drove off the road.

CONCORD, NH – A van crashed and rolled over on Interstate 89 South near Mile Marker 1 on Wednesday, July 1, seriously injuring the driver.

According to Patch, the accident occurred around 1:45 p.m. First responders from Concord and Bow responded to the scene and found the driver had suffered a puncture wound to the chest and was trapped inside the van.

The driver, a man in his 60s, was rescued from the van with major injuries, but was awake and alert, according to first responders. He was transported to Concord Hospital for treatment.

PELHAM, NH – A Pelham man is in the hospital after crashing his car into a tree Saturday night.

According to CBS Boston, police and firefighters were called to a fiery car crash on Spring Street around 8 p.m. Saturday night.

First responders found the driver a few feet away from the fiery car and transported him to Holy Family Hospital for treatment, where he remains in serious condition.

BOW, NH – A major crash on River Road and Route 3A, near the Hooksett town line, is being investigated by local police.

According to an article from Patch, the accident occurred sometime on Monday and involved a Ford Focus and a truck.

Victims of the crash were transported to Concord Hospital, but there is no update on their condition.

NASHUA, NH – Two people were critically injured in a wrong-way, head-on collision on the Everett Turnpike around midnight on Wednesday.

According to NBC Boston, Nashua resident Matthew L. Wicks, 37, drove his 2018 Audi Q7 east in the westbound lanes of the Turnpike. Wicks collided head-on with the driver of a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe heading west.

Carol B. Gates, 50, the driver of the Hyundai, is a resident of Greenville, New Hampshire. Gates was transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and is listed in serious condition.

MANCHESTER, NH – Just before 3:00 a.m. early Sunday morning, Manchester police attempted to stop the driver of a 2010 BMW who was speeding down Bridge Street.

According to Ink Link, the driver refused to pull over for the officers and led them on a chase north on Pine St. and then east on Pearl St.

Police suspended the chase because the BMW driver was driving recklessly and disregarding traffic lights. Police soon after located the vehicle, which had crashed into a home and utility pole at Pearl and Belmont St. and was now on fire.

NORTH HAMPTON, NH – The teenager responsible for a two-vehicle crash and five hospitalizations has been charged with aggravated DWI, the Portsmouth Herald reports.

The collision occurred on Ocean Boulevard in North Hampton at about 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 12, when a Honda Civic driven by 19-year-old Alexandra Espinola crashed into a Toyota Highlander. Both Espinola and the 43-year-old driver of the Highlander had to be extracted from their vehicles, and were taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital for treatment. Espinola’s three teenage passengers were also taken to the facility by ambulance.

An adult female and two juvenile passengers from the Highlander were treated at the scene.

CHICHESTER, N.H. –  One person was killed, and another suffered severe injuries in a three-vehicle crash in Chichester.

According to NECN News 4, the crash occurred just after 4:15 p.m. on Suncook Valley Highway near the intersection with Mayflower Drive. A 91-year-old man was killed, and a 71-year-old woman suffered multiple injuries in the accident.

Investigators believe the 91-year-old driver was driving northbound on the highway when he crossed the center line and struck the woman’s car head-on. The force of the collision sent her car skidding into the northbound lane, where it collided with a pickup truck driven by a 21-year-old man.
