HOOKSET, NH – Emergency services responded to an overturned dump truck on Hackett Hill Road Monday afternoon, Patch reports. No one was injured.

Fire officials were alerted to the rollover at about 3:30 p.m., at about the same time that a utility truck happened upon the crash. Police cordoned off the area so the wreck could be investigated and cleared from the road.

The driver, who was the only person in the dump truck at the time, was unhurt.

SALEM, NH – A 58-year-old man from Boston was injured in a single-vehicle accident on southbound I-93 Thursday when he lost control and rolled the box truck he was driving.

According to WHDH, Eleuterio Contreras Tovalino was attempting to slow down in heavy rain at the time of the crash. The truck skidded and rolled as a result.

Contreras Tovalino suffered minor injuries and was cited for driving with an expired license and at an unreasonable speed.

ROCHESTER, NH – The passenger of a U-Haul truck died after the vehicle veered off Chestnut Hill Road near Roger Allen Park on Aug. 22.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but WMUR reported that the crash happened just before 1 p.m. One passenger was declared dead at the scene, while the driver and the second passenger were taken to a local hospital.

It is not clear why the truck drove off the road.

HAMPTON, NH – New Hampshire State Police responded to a tractor-trailer rollover crash that occurred on Route 101 near the I-95 off-ramp on Tuesday morning.

PETERBOROUGH, NH – The driver of a tractor-trailer said he was swatting a bug in his cab when he lost control of the truck and crashed it on Route 101 last Friday.

Peterborough Fire Chief Ed Walker told WMUR News that the accident happened just before 7 a.m. the morning of July 10.

No one was injured in this crash, but part of Route 101 was closed for several hours while crews worked to repair the two telephone poles, internet, and cable lines struck by the truck.

WENTWORTH, NH – A man died Monday morning after his lumber truck rolled over on Mt. Moosilauke Highway, according to the Union Leader.

Police believe the victim, 65-year-old Keene man John Hope Jr., was driving a flatbed truck full of lumber when he executed too sharp a turn on Route 25 around 7:15 a.m.

Initial investigation shows that Hope likely encountered heavy fog and overcorrected his turn to remain on the roadway, causing the truck to tip and roll over.

EXETER, NH – A 71-year-old man crashed and overturned a dump truck on Route 101 in Exeter Tuesday afternoon.

Patch reports that the driver crashed his 2007 commercial Mack dump truck into an embankment off of Route 101 around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Lt. John Hennessey said the crash was caused by a mechanical failure in the truck, not by driver error.
