PITTSBURG, NH (COOS COUNTY) – A girl was hurt after her snowmobile crashed into multiple trees in Coos County this weekend, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.

The accident occurred on Trail 142 in Pittsburg on Saturday, when a girl, whose hometown and age were not immediately released, was riding in a group with other snowmobilers.

She was unable to effectively manage a turn downhill, and her vehicle crashed. The snowmobile collided with multiple trees before coming to a rest.

PLYMOUTH, NH – An elderly man was fatally struck by a vehicle after he slipped and fell outside a medical office building in Plymouth on Friday morning.

According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, the crash occurred outside Speare Memorial at Boulder Point, located at 103 Boulder Point Drive, at 9:43 a.m., when 78-year-old Thornton man James Stafursky fell in the parking lot.

Stafursky was lying on the ground when he was struck by Belmont man Lloyd Pickering, 61, who reportedly did not notice the victim.

COLEBROOK, NH – A man from Massachusetts was airlifted to the hospital in Vermont with serious injuries following a snowmobile accident in Colebrook yesterday.

According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, the accident occurred on the rail-trail in Colebrook at about 6 p.m., when 58-year-old Robert Gilchrist, of North Grafton, MA, reportedly failed to notice that he was approaching a bridge on the snowmobile trail.

He collided with a bump in the trail, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and the snowmobile to overturn.

The accident occurred at a private residence on Noella Avenue at about 1:30 p.m., as 60-year-old Michelle Saball, of North Reading, Mass., was operating a 1997 Arctic Cat 600 snowmobile.

She was taken to the hospital in Lowell with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

BROOKLINE, NH – A 25-year-old man was severely hurt after a snowmobile accident in the Lake Potanipo area this weekend, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.

The accident happened in Brookline on Saturday afternoon, when 25-year-old Greenville resident Myles Leclerc was reportedly operating a snowmobile at high speeds.

He lost control of the snowmobile and was then ejected from the vehicle.
