MANCHESTER, NH – A home on Pratt Court in Manchester sustained heavy damage during an electrical fire this morning, according to the Manchester Ink Link.

The incident occurred at a single-family home at 42 Pratt Court at 10:36 a.m.

When authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered smoke and flames coming from the home.

EXETER, NH – A collision on Route 101 in Exeter led to traffic delays and lane closures this afternoon, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

OSSIPEE LAKE, NH – Two people were injured after an OHRV (off-highway recreational vehicle) overturned near Ossipee Lake this weekend, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.

The crash happened on Weetamoe Road, near Fairway Drive, at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday, after the driver of the OHRV attempted to make a left turn. The vehicle flipped over, causing all six occupants to be ejected.

One person was trapped within the wreckage and was freed by emergency crews.

LAKE WINNIPESAUKEE, NH – A paddleboarder was taken to the hospital after being hit by a boat on Lake Winnipesaukee this afternoon, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

The collision happened near Church Landing in Meredith at about 2 p.m., as a 51-year-old boater from Franklin, Mass., who was identified as Karalyn Remillard, was attempted to dock a pontoon boat.

Remillard then crashed into a paddleboarder, a 51-year-old woman from Chappaqua, New York.

MERRIMACK, NH – A man was injured in a rollover crash that also led to the injury of a good Samaritan on the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Merrimack late last night.

According to the New Hampshire State Police, the crash occurred on the northbound turnpike near mile marker 14.2 at 11:25 p.m., when the 24-year-old driver of a 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse, Merrimack resident James Gaudreau, lost control of his vehicle.

The Eclipse went off the left side of the highway, then struck a guardrail and overturned. It finally landed on top of the guardrail for the median.

HANCOCK, NH – A man was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision on Bennington Road in Hancock earlier this week, according to the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Elmwood Road and Bennington Rd, just before 1 p.m. Tuesday, when a Hancock man driving a 2019 Toyota Camry was struck by the driver of a 2012 Ford F-550 pickup truck being operated by a man from Antrim.

Authorities believe that the driver of the Toyota did not see the other driver approaching before he crossed the intersection.

RINDGE, NH – A collision involving a dump truck on Route 119 led to a person’s death this morning in Rindge, according to WMUR.

The collision occurred on Route 119, near Abel Road, at about 9 a.m., when a vehicle collided with a dump truck.

At least one of those vehicles then burst into flames.

NASHUA, NH – A man was severely injured when he crashed into a bridge abutment on the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Nashua on Monday afternoon, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

The crash occurred on the off-ramp for Exit 2 on the Everett Tnpk at about 2:50 p.m.

The driver of a red 2013 Buick Encore, 59-year-old Nashua man Kevin Hanley, was unable to navigate a curve in the roadway. His vehicle then crashed head-on into a bridge abutment.

LOUDON, NH – A child was hospitalized after his go-cart rolled over in his driveway in Loudon on Friday morning, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.

The crash happened at a private resident at about 9 a.m., when a juvenile boy attempted to perform a donut in his driveway while his parents were away from home. The go-cart then overturned.

The boy, who was wearing multiple safety devices, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. He is expected to survive his wounds.

ROLLINSFORD, NH – A Maine resident attempting to help an injured animal was fatally struck by a vehicle in Rollinsford earlier this week, according to WMUR.

The crash occurred on Monday on Portland Avenue (Route 4), near Short Street, as 30-year-old Michal Wing, of Sanford, Maine, was helping an injured cat. He was then struck by a passing vehicle.

Wing was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
