MANCHESTER, NH – Two children crossing the street in Manchester were injured when they were hit by a driver on Monday, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.

The crash happened on Dubuque Street at about 11:45 a.m., as two girls were walking in a crosswalk. They were then struck by a 39-year-old driver.

The children suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

THORNTON, NH – A man from Maine was killed in a motorcycle accident on I-93 in Thornton last night that may have been a result of speeding or intoxicated driving, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

The crash happened on southbound I-93 near mile marker 88.8 at about 6:19 p.m., when the driver of a 1993 Honda motorcycle lost control of his vehicle, then ran off the right side of the roadway. There, he crashed into a sign.

The motorcyclist, identified as 54-year-old Ray Voisine, of Chester, Maine, died at the scene.

BEDFORD, NH – A man from Manchester was seriously injured when his convertible overturned on the Everett Turnpike in Bedford this afternoon, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

The crash occurred on the off-ramp for Exit 13 of the F.E. Everett Turnpike S in Bedford at 1:35 p.m., when 62-year-old Manchester resident Dennis A. Smith lost control of a 2002 gray Saab 9-3 convertible. The convertible then went off the left side of the ramp and rolled onto its roof.

Smith suffered severe, non-life-threatening injuries in the collision. He was taken to Elliot Hospital for treatment.

SULLIVAN, NH – Authorities believe that speeding may have been a factor in a tractor-trailer collision that occurred Thursday night on Route 9 in Sullivan.

According to information from the New Hampshire State Police, the crash happened on westbound Rt. 9 near Valley Road at about 7:45 p.m., as 31-year-old Hamlet R. Dubois, of Watertown, New York, was driving a tractor-trailer that was hauling a load of salvage vehicles. He was unable to properly negotiate a curve in the roadway, and the truck overturned onto its side.

Speeding may have been a factor in the collision.

MANCHESTER, NH – Authorities responded to an accident caused by a driver crashing into a home on Maple Street in Manchester yesterday afternoon, according to Manchester Ink Link.

The collision happened at a home near Laurel Street and Maple Street when a driver failed to stop at the stop sign, but reportedly did so in the middle of the intersection. A second driver, operating a white Ram pickup truck, then swerved to avoid a collision. The second driver lost control of their vehicle, and then went through a fence and into a driveway, where they crashed into a blue Toyota Prius parked nearby.

The impact sent the unoccupied Prius into a nearby garage, while the Ram finally collided with the porch.

BOW, NH – A man is facing multiple charges after a high-speed police pursuit ended on I-89 in Bow today, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

Witnesses initially spotted a person driving a red BMW at a high rate of speed and in an erratic manner, reportedly swerving between lanes on I-89 S in New London. In Hopkinton, a Trooper was able to catch up to the driver of a red 2016 Honda Accord, who was still traveling at a high rate of speed after initially getting off the interstate in order to avoid police. A pursuit then ensued after the driver allegedly refused to pull over for a traffic stop.

Troopers used tire deflation devices near Exit 2 in Bow, which caused one of the Honda’s tires to deflate.

MANCHESTER, NH – The New Hampshire State Police reported a car fire this afternoon on I-93 in Manchester that was causing traffic slowdowns and lane closures.

According to the department’s Twitter feed, the incident occurred on northbound I-93 near mile marker 22 at about 12:50 p.m.

PELHAM, NH – A man from Massachusetts is facing DUI charges after he allegedly crashed his vehicle outside of police headquarters in Pelham and then attempted to run from the scene early this morning.

According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, the crash happened on Marsh Road near the Pelham Town Hall at about 1:45 a.m., when the driver of a Ford pickup truck skidded while rounding the traffic circle, then crashed into a road sign. The vehicle then collided with a tree and a rock.

The driver, who was identified as 51-year-old Joseph Waelter, of North Andover, Massachusetts, reportedly attempted to flee the scene.

DOVER, NH – A car crash on the Spaulding Turnpike in Dover has led to road closures this afternoon, according to the New Hampshire State Police.

DERRY, NH – Multiple lanes were closed as a result of an accident on I-93 in the Derry area this afternoon, according to the New Hampshire State Police.
