DERRY, NH – A police officer was seriously hurt after being struck by a driver and pinned to his vehicle in Derry on Friday morning, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.
The accident occurred on Drew Road at about 8:30 a.m., as 27-year-old Derry Police officer Kevin Davies was responding to a previous collision that had occurred about 45 minutes prior.
He was struck by a vehicle whose driver had reportedly lost control on the snowy roadway. The impact pinned Davis to the rear of his patrol vehicle.
