Woman arrested for November hit-and-run in Nashua

NASHUA, NH – A woman has been arrested for hitting and injuring a pedestrian in November and then fleeing the scene, WHDH reports.

Police arrested Tamara Abukhalaf on Thursday, January 28, after they determined she was the driver who struck a pedestrian near Nashua House of Pizza on East Hollis Street on November 18. The pedestrian was seriously injured, and Abukhalaf fled the scene before police arrived.

Abukhalaf has been charged with conduct after an accident. It is not clear when she will next be due in court.
